Following the company’s success at the Association of Translation Companies’ 2017 Awards last month, City Legal, along with its sister company Intonation, continued its run of good fortune, picking up a further accolade at the 2017 Solent Business Awards. Picking up 3rd place in the “Dynamic Growth Award”, sponsored by law firm Pitmans Law, the award was yet more recognition of the company’s outstanding performance in 2017.
According to Pitmans, the Dynamic Growth Award “recognises and celebrates businesses that have demonstrated true innovation and the energy and passion for delivering change. As well as financial performance, we recognise those that have developed their workforce and maximised technological, commercial and merger and acquisition opportunities.”
At a glittering awards ceremony hosted by TV personality and former MP Gyles Brandreth at the Hilton, Ageas Bowl, City Legal was commended not only for its rapid growth, but for maintaining a 100% Customer Satisfaction Rate whilst doing so, and the varied nature of its client base.
Commercial Director Dan Peachey explains, “It really is the icing on the cake after a great 2017 to be given this award. We were surprised to be nominated, but as a business proud to have been part of the Solent region for over 30 years, it means so much to us. We’ve always felt that our strength has been in our ability to adapt- whether working for a client just down the road or for one of the top global law firms, every job and client is treated the same- from a minimum charge marriage certificate to corporate contract documentation, clients know City Legal is a mark of quality they can trust.”
Dan continues, “The company has diversified in recent years, including supporting Legal Aid work and the introduction of our transcription service, and we feel that has been instrumental in our growth. The name City Legal has been synonymous with quality in the legal translation industry for over 30 years. Being an agency exclusively tailored for the legal and financial markets has given us the competitive edge as clients know they’re working with experts within the field.”
