Eulogia comes to Portsmouth

Eulogia comes to Portsmouth

13 Dec 2019

Eulogia is a global alliance of translation agencies with more than 25 years of history. The alliance was formed in 1994 and members are hand-picked with just one member per language allowed to join at any one time.

Intonation has been the UK member of Eulogia since 2014 and Managing Director Dan Peachey has been Chair since 2018. The alliance offers its members a forum where they can share knowledge and expertise. Members often collaborate on high-level language projects, giving Eulogia organisations the ability to handle complex multi-language requests both quickly and efficiently.

Every year, the alliance hosts two member meetings, and this December, it was Intonation’s turn to host in Portsmouth. Attended by members from across Europe and Malaysia, the meet took place at The Emirates Spinnaker Tower, a 170-meter landmark observation tower located at Portsmouth Harbour.

The latest event provided the opportunity to recap the year, with an overarching theme of growth and expansion. Members shared their own experiences on subjects as diverse as customer experience, sales, and mergers. The event proved to be a resounding success and members left excited about plans for the alliance in the year to come.

Intonation MD Dan Peachey said, “Eulogia is one of the key organisations driving change throughout the translation profession. Together we are helping to improve the sector by sharing and developing expertise amongst our members. By working together for the good of the industry and our members we are passing on the benefits of shared knowledge to our clients. It’s also a great way to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulations. We’re proud to be a part of Eulogia”.
